HOW LONG DOES DELIVERY TAKE?

You will specify a date and time on ordering with us, we then confirm we have stock and availability to meet your requirement.

CLEANING SERVICE

Do you really want to do the washing up after your – Wedding Anniversary, 21st Birthday, Christening, BBQ, I don’t think so Sit back and relax knowing that we will collect all your dirty china, cutlery, glasses, “etc” for a nominal charge. Here is an example of what you will be charged if you choose to take up this option, E.g. If your total hire charge is £150, it may be that only £65 is the cost of items that require washing before they are returned to us. We would charge you 20% of this cost, for this service. (furniture and table cloth hire are exempt). That means that we will charge you £13 to return all items dirty. Table cloths are exempt from this charge. A small price to pay for that, end of the evening feeling. If you wish to use this service, please tick the order form accordingly

HIRE TIME CHARGE

Hire charges are based on 24 hours, delivered on, or the day before function and collected the day after the function. Longer periods by arrangement. Goods must be available for collection at the agreed time, or waiting costs will be incurred.

DO I NEED TO KEEP THE ORIGINAL BOXES THE ITEMS ARE SUPPLIED IN?

All original boxes, bags, cartons “etc” must be returned, or charges will be incurred.

DOES CHINA NEED TO BE RETURNED CLEAN?

All china, cutlery, glasses “etc” are to be returned clean, unless you have taken the option to return all items dirty at the agreed extra charge.

DOES TABLE LINEN NEED TO BE RETURNED CLEAN?

Table linen hire includes a laundering charge, so these should be returned dirty.

ARE THERE WAITING CHARGES?

If goods are to be delivered to halls, sports centres “etc” it is expected that the hirer or their representative, will be at the venue at the agreed delivery time. Waiting charges will be incurred if no-one is present to take delivery.

HOW DO I PAY?

The Company operates on a cash on delivery or agreed terms arrangement. Credit cards are not acceptable.

HOW IS MY ORDER CONFIRMED?

On receipt of your order we will check availability on the requested date and time and respond within 48hours. We always confirm a booking by phone.

WHAT ABOUT BREAKAGES?

All breakages must be paid for.

CAN I CHANGE MY ORDER?

Any alterations to pre-booked orders must be made no later than 3 days prior to the function. changes are subject to availability.

AT WHAT POINT AM I RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ITEMS?

On receipt of delivery, the hirer is responsible for any damage or loss of property, until the items are collected by the Company or their appointed representative.

WILL I HAVE TO PAY A DEPOSIT?

The Company reserves the right to charge a deposit to cover losses or damage.

Orders over the value of £300 require a 20% non-refundable deposit, 10 days prior to the function.

WHO OWNS THE ITEMS?

All Equipment remains the property of the Charles Hire Group.

DO YOU COLLECT IN THE EVENING?

Where an evening collection is required, the following charges apply. Between 6pm & 8pm £40 and Between 8pm & 11pm £50.
